Are you looking for a fun and rewarding way to support the museum community? We welcome all Cultural Connections members to actively participate as members of the Programs and Communication committees. We recruit new board members annually; new board members begin their term in the first quarter of each year.
Each board member participates in one of three committees:
- Programs Committee: Programs committee members keep their fingers on the pulse of what’s innovative and interesting in the world of museums and related fields, and organize professional development events throughout each year to share these trends and topics with the Cultural Connections community.
- Communications Committee: Communications committee members keep the information flowing to help the Cultural Connections community grow and stay in touch. The Communications Committee facilitates internal and external communication about Cultural Connections programs and events, maintains the organization’s online presence, and handles membership.
- Executive Committee: The officers of Cultural Connections (president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary) make up the Executive Committee and oversee the business of the organization and the activities of the other committees.
