Jen Maxcy currently serves as the Assistant Director for Public Programs at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles where she oversees programming across multiple disciplines including Music, Performance, Literary, and Film.  In her decade working in programs at the Skirball, Jen has held a leadership role in multiple inaugural projects including the annual Puppet Festival, the expansion of a drop in art studio, a summer lounge to augment museum exhibitions, and most recently Skirball Stages, an online docu-concert series featuring local and international musicians. In addition to music during the pandemic, Jen has led a team to adjust to online programs including literary talks, film presentations, and classes.  Prior to Jen’s tenure at the Skirball she was a professional actor working in New York and LA, and held a number of volunteer roles in her public school community including a stint as PTA President.  Jen lives in Santa Monica with her husband Timm, three teenagers, and two dogs. 

Dr. Joeletta Patrick is the Director of the California STEM Engagement Office at Ames Research Center and Armstrong Flight Research Center. Dr. Patrick is a native of Greensboro, NC where she attended North Carolina A&T State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Upon graduation she moved to Houston, TX and began her career in the NASA industry. She worked as a Flight Controller for the International Space Station program and Time-Phased Power Analyst until assuming a role in the Office of STEM Engagement. Shortly after assuming a role in STEM Engagement at Johnson Space Center, Dr. Patrick moved to Headquarters in Washington, DC where she served in various capacities such as: Agency manager for the Minority University Research, the Education Program and the National Space Grant College & Fellowship Program.

Correspondingly, she also worked a short-term assignment as a Senior Fellow for the White House initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Dr. Patrick received a Masters and Doctorate of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, Global Campus. In her spare time, she works with the North Carolina-based Lupus focused non-profit known as Beautiful Butterflies, and is a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Julie Scott has served as the Executive Director of the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose, California since 2000. Since the pandemic began, she has presented more than fifty Zoom presentations to Friends of the Museum and members of the Rosicrucian Order, the philosophical organization that sponsors the museum. The focus has been on connecting with our community, staying healthy, and being of service to others. She also directed the creation of THE “go-to online resource for ancient Egypt” (egyptianmuseum.org), including 3D artifact models, 360 degree virtual tours, and interactive maps.
